Vanessa Bellot is an entrepreneur, published print and runway model and mentor who resides in the U.S. Virgin Islands.  The single mother of two handsome, educated young men has family roots in Dominica, W.I., Antigua, Montserrat and St. Croix, USVI.

My mantra is: “My Passion pushes me into action.”

What is the hardest and most exciting thing about work?

I am involved in several occupations.  However, I will focus on my profession as a theatrical promoter / booking agent. I chose to become an Event Promoter because I love to explore my creative vision and my ideas. I love to convert concept into reality. I take pleasure in providing quality entertainment with class to the community. The hardest part of being a promoter is it requires hard work and energy, as well as financial risks. Most times you are required to work under tremendous pressure to obtain “THE” Optimum event experience your audiences expect.

Three words that best describe you and why?

Three Words That Best Describe Me Are:” Confident”; “Determined” and “Team-Player”.

I am a very confident individual who believes I can accomplish anything I set my mind to, with the help of The Almighty God. I always aim high to achieve the best in ALL I do. I am a great team player who believes that there is room at the top for everyone and “teamwork indeed makes the dream work”!

The songs I love now are “Way Maker” by Sinach and “Good Time” by Edwin Yearwood.

What do you love most about the Caribbean?

What I love most about the Caribbean is the beautiful, picturesque sceneries and landscapes, the rich agriculture and crystal-clear beaches. I also love the strong and resilient people who are rooted in faith and love for family. My favorite Caribbean foods are: Saltfish & Dumplings and Smoked Herring with Roasted Breadfruit.
