Travel All Year Round

Have you been to the Caribbean? There are many islands to choose from and countless reasons to visit all year round. The Caribbean is known for its tropical weather, beautiful beaches, friendly people, appetizing food, and vibrant music. Visitors enjoy its diversity, island hopping adventures, wildlife, history, and heritage too.

Yes! I did mention it all year round.

The phenomenal warm weather is ideal for relaxing on the beautiful beaches. Take a stroll along the beach or enjoy a beautiful tan while soaking in the beautiful blue ocean. A beach date is a vibe, and you get to meet local people of mixed cultures and nationalities.

The islands are famous for black sand beaches on islands such as St. Lucia, Montserrat, Martinique, and Saba. Spectacular white sand beaches powder the coast of several destinations across the region.  Islands often making the top list include locations in the US Virgin Islands, Turks & Caicos, British Virgin Islands, Anguilla, Bahamas, Barbados, and the Cayman Islands.

The Caribbean is filled with friendly people. Warm welcomes and handshakes make it a bit easier to communicate and get around the islands. In the Caribbean, where there’s food, you get good music. It is a place where all your senses come to life especially smell and taste. Tropical fruits such as mangoes, coconut, bananas are a must taste. Mixologists blend exotic drinks in many destinations. Herbs like rosemary and thyme are the aroma coming from our local markets. The variety of food is plenty because of the different seasonings, herbs, and spices used to prepare meals. Almost every island has its national dish, which you must taste when vacationing. Some islands like St. Lucia, Martinique, and St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Puerto Rico, and the US Virgin Islands have their own locally made rum and beers too.

Music and dance are the essences of the Caribbean people. Carnival is one of the biggest festival events which showcases the culture, music, art, and types of dances. Jamaica is the island for reggae and dancehall music. While Trinidad, known for inventing the steel drums, is home to the largest carnival in the Caribbean. Soca, calypso, and steel pan music are all popular there in many islands, with homegrown musical artists who perform at various events and venues during the Carnivals and year-round.

The Caribbean is a great family destination to create beautiful memories. Where else can you do island-hop adventures? It is the perfect place, with each island having its own natural attractions and magnificent landscapes such as volcanoes, tropical rainforests, rivers, and waterfalls. The drive-in volcano, twin Pitons in St. Lucia, and a boiling lake, 365 rivers in Dominica are well-known natural attractions. The British Virgin Islands and St. Vincent, and the Grenadines are known as great sailing destinations.  Throughout the region, you can also enjoy excellent snorkeling, day sails, turtle, and dolphins watch sites. There are numerous outdoor playground activities to enjoy, like golfing, cycling, ziplining, and horse riding.

The Caribbean offers a wide range of heritage sites, forts, and museums that allow you to appreciate each island’s historical richness. The voyage of Christopher Columbus is written in the history book of most Caribbean islands. The brick and stonework on these islands enable you to differentiate the British from the French colonies.

Visit, island-hop, and experience each island’s rich culture and diversity.
